My wife really wanted to go to Napa for her birthday. She LOVES wineries and was dying to visit one in particular called Castello di Amorosa. It's supposed to be just like a historic European castle. So off we went and here are the photos from our adventure. The actual wine tasting took place in the cellars and it was pretty cool to check them out! After we wine tasted, we happened upon this beautiful field of mustard flowers. My wife, being the photographer that she is, insisted we pull over for photos! And how can a trip to Napa be complete without a visit to the Bouchon bakery. So off we went there and I stood in line forever while my wife frolicked around to get photos. It sure was a great trip though and made for some great memories!

My wife and I discovered a new winery this weekend! It's called Regale Winery and is tucked away at the top of the Santa Cruz Mountains in Los Gatos. My wife thought it was absolutely beautiful despite the gusty winds and rain clouds. They had a really nice garden in the back that looked great even in December! We'll definitely have to go back on a beautiful sunny day!
Wow - it's been some times since I've blogged! Life has picked up a lot with work, going back to school, football, and purchasing a house! We have had less time to go on fun corvette adventures - but I still enjoy driving the corvette in the every day activities.
Last weekend, my wife needed an outing so I took her to the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountain Winery: Byington. It is quite a drive getting there through windy mountain roads. But once you arrive, the view is great and the wine isn't bad too. Here are some photos from our short adventure! The summer has gone by quick. Work, family and friends have been keeping us busy. But in the fall, it will become even more busy as I head back to school. My wife insisted before school starts, I must take her to Lodi to go wine tasting. I like to make my wife happy so we took a little adventure. Lodi is only 1.5 hours away, so the drive there was not bad at all. The wine tasting is great as well! Many wineries don't have tasting fees or charge a mere $5 fee that is refundable if you buy a bottle of wine. Many wineries also pair their wine with foods or chocolates. The wines are great too! Napa often uses many of the grapes Lodi produces so it's really high class. We passed some windmills on the way over and were so happy to see them actually working. Every other time we've driven by they have been still.
