My wife and I met up with some friends for dinner in downtown Campbell this last weekend. Downtown Campbell holds a special place in our hearts because we got married there. We had the ceremony at the Ainsley House and then walked through the downtown to get the Sonoma Chicken Coop for our reception. It made perfect sense for us to park near the Ainsley House when meeting up with our friends. We got a few pics over there. If you haven't been there, it's a really chill place - great for picnics and hanging out! Below is a photo of us there on our wedding day! A lot has changed between then and now!

My twin brother came to visit this last week and we had fun working together on my car. He actually has the same exact car and is going to school right now to become a mechanic. So it was great to have him alongside me to fix some things that needed to be fixing. Sometimes as we worked together, we got frustrated by each other. But at the end of the day, we always laughed and had fun together! I'm thankful to have a brother who like me - likes to take good care of my car!
I have now had my corvette for one whole year! And it's been an awesome year because of it!!! To celebrate, my wife and I drove down to Monterey and took some photos in the same location we had our first real car photo shoot (view the blog photos here: http://andrewscorvette.weebly.com/blog/first-road-trip-monterey). A lot has changed in the last year between work, school, and overall life goals. This car has stuck beside me through it all and I am thankful! Here's to praying that this car sticks with me for many many more years!
My wife really wanted to go to Napa for her birthday. She LOVES wineries and was dying to visit one in particular called Castello di Amorosa. It's supposed to be just like a historic European castle. So off we went and here are the photos from our adventure. The actual wine tasting took place in the cellars and it was pretty cool to check them out! After we wine tasted, we happened upon this beautiful field of mustard flowers. My wife, being the photographer that she is, insisted we pull over for photos! And how can a trip to Napa be complete without a visit to the Bouchon bakery. So off we went there and I stood in line forever while my wife frolicked around to get photos. It sure was a great trip though and made for some great memories!
My corvette got it's first accessory! My wife's work has been selling these "In God We Trust" window cling stickers. There is a whole campaign going on to sell 1 million of these stickers and get them on windows all over the country. So I got one and have it proudly displayed on my window! Below is more information about the Million Window Campaign. If you would like to order a sticker as well, you can get one here.
I LOVE cleaning my corvette and making it sparkle! My wife laughs at me because of all the time I spend cleaning and taking are of it. So this last week she wanted to document all the love that goes into it. First I took it to get it's oil changed. . . Then we were off to the self-service car wash. I take a lot of pride in cleaning it myself and keeping it as good looking as possible. Then at home I do some detailing. I bought my own mini vacuum so I can do this as often as necessary whenever I think it needs it. Ta-Da!!!! Doesn't it look beautiful?!? A clean car usually means date night! And it definitely was time to take my lady out for a spin!
Merry Christmas! Hope everyone had a great holiday and got to spend some time with loved ones! Unfortunately this year, I had to work that evening! So my wife and I had made the most of our time together. We had a yummy breakfast downtown Los Altos and took a nice walk to check out the beautiful Christmas decorations downtown. Then we headed down to the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay and enjoyed the wonderful coast and Christmas decorations there. The Ritz is always so fancy and fun! It really is a beautiful place to escape and get away! What a beautiful day in Half Moon Bay! It definitely was a nice yet short getaway!!
My wife and I discovered a new winery this weekend! It's called Regale Winery and is tucked away at the top of the Santa Cruz Mountains in Los Gatos. My wife thought it was absolutely beautiful despite the gusty winds and rain clouds. They had a really nice garden in the back that looked great even in December! We'll definitely have to go back on a beautiful sunny day!
My wife's family lives in Grants Pass, Oregon so for Thanksgiving we took the corvette on it's first road trip up to Southern Oregon. It is a long drive and can get boring so having the corvette definitely made it more exciting! We arrived at my wife's parent's house and relaxed for awhile. The corvette sure looked good against the green tree-filled landscape! We had to stop and get Dutch Bros Coffee! It's yummy and we don't have them in California! So we definitely got our fill in the few days we were up there. My wife and I recently purchased this home. So while we were there, we got it ready for renting it out! It is our first home and we plan on moving here some day but in the meantime - we just enjoyed getting some photos in front! We can't help but think this is the cutest house! We were very excited to own it and finally be able to see it! We also stopped to see my sister-in-law and her family! They live on this beautiful plot of land in the country and have amazing views of the surrounding landscape. The kids enjoyed checking out the corvette but sadly are too young to get a ride with their uncle. Maybe one day soon! And then we were off again! Time flies when you're having fun! Hopefully we'll return again soon!
